A remarkable pianist taking the world by storm.

Since Ryan Wang won BBC Young Musician 2024 he has, understandably, been in great demand around the world. Milverton Concert Society is thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to witness something very special. This bonus concert in Milverton on 20 June 2026 @ 7.30pm will be one of Ryan’s final concerts before continuing his studies at Harvard University.

Ryan is one of the most electrifying pianists performing today. He has an exceptional talent and despite his young age, he has already built a reputation in the international classical music community, captivating audiences with performances that combine maturity, sensitivity, and virtuosity. He is widely regarded as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation.

On his winning performance of Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto, BBC judge Alison Balsom said “Ryan Wang is a truly remarkable musician. He has an extremely rare ability to communicate something other-worldly – and embody the music. I don’t think even he understands quite how he does it! In the final it was abundantly clear to all of us that he was creating a kind of magic. … We felt we were witnessing one of the great historical performances of Rach 2.”
